Because they don’t do many new launches, Aesop as a brand only pops up on my radar at Christmas, and not because I’m sent product, but because my brother is obsessed with all things Aesop, especially their shaving range. As he has an October birthday, Aesop gifting discussions open early!

I can’t really fault this range; their packaging is sparing and concise, their products are virtually all unisex and the scents are incredible. If you’ve never come across Aesop Rind Concentrate Body Balm, you have missed a thing of joy. The set above is Auriga (all the sets are constellation based) containing A Rose By Any Other Name Body Cleanser, Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm and Immediate Moisture Facial Hydrosol. The set is £45 HERE. Although Aesop has products for everyone (even dogs!) it’s a bit of a style hunter range; think repurposed wood, exposed but white-washed brickwork – everything that looks casually understated but has cost an absolute fortune to be that undone.  You only need to glance at the ‘Design’ section on their site to realise that the type of person with the ability to appreciate the contours of a vintage nail, rather than the type of person that likes fluffy cushions on their bed, is the target Aesop consumer.

But, who doesn’t like to be thought of as cool?

And, if you’re in mind for a treat-to-self, I’d highly recommend both the aforementioned Rind Concentrate Body Balm, from £25 HERE and the Geranium Leaf Body Scrub, from £25 HERE for their efficacy and aromatic assets.
