Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone

Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone multi purpose primer pencil works. It’s just that simple. There is no doubt that this product will keep your lipstick in place far longer than if you didn’t use it; Urban Decay claim 8 hour hold and while that’s not untrue, you won’t keep the colour saturation that you started with. Lipstick (I tried it with Chanel) has certainly stayed the course and I’m left with some colour, but not the full works.

The texture of Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone is gently waxy; soft on the lip and unobtrusive but it doesn’t seem to offer anything much in the way of hydration, so if you have dry lips, avoid until they’re back in shape. Otherwise, there is no smell or taste that I can discern. If you know you aren’t going to have much opportunity for lippie top ups, or you just want to apply and forget about it, Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone is definitely one for the make-up bag.

Although the primary purpose for Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone is lips, you can also use it as a crease filler (it kinda works) but even more handily it can sweep up any mascara that’s missed it’s mark (you know when you apply and then accidentally blink too hard – or worse, sneeze – we’ve all done the mascara sneeze, right; usually followed by expletives!) Urban Decay Ultimate Ozone is just one of those products that qualifies as a beauty SOS product and it’s all kinds of useful.

It hasn’t launched yet, but it will cost £15 when it does – look out for it towards the end of this month.
