From about now you’ll start seeing the new look that Lanolips has created across all of its products. If you’ve read this site a while, you’ll know that I have championed Lanolips from the very beginning for being affordable lip care that really works. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve recommended it or bought it as a gift (my sister is now a convert!) and it’s in more or less daily use now, even after all this time.
I’m not sure I feel either way about the revamp – I don’t think I really care what the packaging is as long as the good stuff is the same inside! But, I don’t think it’s particularly an improvement – just different. In terms of newness, Kirstin has finally locked down a decent nude to join the other coloured Lanolips balm. Perfect Nude is what I’d call a ‘blonde nude’ in that it’s a skim of warm, pink/brown neutral that has enough colour to give lips a little something, especially if you are fair skinned, but might be a little too light for darker tones. That said, it’s not really a make-up product – it’s a tinted lip balm and won’t work against your tone.
I’ve had a scoot around the internet and can’t find the new look or new balm yet so it might be just a little early for it to have become easily available. Keep your eyes peeled if you’re a Lano-fan!

Jane, you can find images of Lanolips’ new look on their Facebook profile and Instagram page 🙂
Ah thanks Julia.. I really meant (although didn’t make clear) retail sites so people can buy if they want to ..but thank you for being so helpfulx
Will look out for the nude shade to add to the pale pink & raspberry Lanolips I already have!
The revamp a bit dull in my opinion.. sorry!
Was a huge fan of Lanolips until I watched a video on the trauma suffered by sheep when they are carelessly sheared (lanolin coming from their wool). It was horrifying – no more lanolin products for me…
I really like the look of the new packaging! I’ve wanted the apples Lanolips for agggges. I wonder if I can snag one of the older tubes cheaper now… 😛

I live in the rhubarb one, but have never really noticed it giving any colour to my lips. It’s a bit lacklustre as a revamp, isn’t it? Keeping the vintage-y font and just making it bigger seems like a bit of a waste of money.
I can’t believe Lanolips still doesn’t sell in Germany! Even Carmex came only last year. What a dull country we have.
