Marc Jacobs Airbrush Soft Glow Duo

The Marc Jacobs beauty range just keeps on getting better – I love the look of the Airblush Soft Glow Duo, a dual toned, long last blush. The brand says that it lasts 24 hours – I’m not putting that one to test, especially when the press release pairs it with the words, ‘dancefloor’… those days are gone! But, with any blush, I’m happy if it lasts the working day to be honest – those extra hours aren’ t needed in my case.

I’m guessing the dancefloor aspect comes from the fact that there are tiny shards of shimmer – the miniscule twinkly ones rather than anything chunky – but they’re not over-obvious. In theory, you can pick out the stripes to shade and contour but I’ve used this as one flush of colour and while I wouldn’t have picked out this coral pink for myself (it’s just a bit too light for my current skin tone), it works beautifully and delivers an even, seamless shade of healthy. There are five colours to choose from, and the stripe effect is taken from Marc Jacobs’ 2013 striped gown, so you can see there is a fashion element creeping into this range which makes me excited for what’s to come from this range. The Marc Jacobs Airblush Soft Glow Duo is £28 and launching in the next few weeks.
