Makeup Revolution Blush Melts

I love a creme blush! They’re harder and harder to find with so many brand relying on powder brushes that when some good cremes come along, it feels like a find! I’ve been using Cargo Swimmables which are powder and the first of that formula that I’ve really got along with, and also my Stila Convertible Colour Lip & Cheek palette. I’ve almost finished my beautiful Clarins Multi Blush (which I will replace when the very last drop has gone) so the Makeup Revolution Blush Melts are very timely. Set in an eight pan palette, the first thing I will tell you is that they’re completely packed with pigment so use very, very little! That was my big mistake when I dived in and got ‘I’ve been drinking all day’ cheeks!

This is the top row (obviously I’ve swatched them at intensity) with four shades that are completely versatile.

The second row ventures into pops of pink. The formula blends out beautifully – I’d use a fixing spray if it needs to stay literally all day but last is pretty good. I wore one of the shades on an evening out and it stayed almost to the end, but just not quite. I don’t think anyone can argue at £6 for the palette, HERE.

I’ve been using a Chanel brush to apply these – it’s a foundation brush but seems to be so good with diffusing this blush colour, it’s taken on a new job! You can find it HERE.
