Who’d have thought you could choose your lip shade from the Farrow & Ball charts? Because that’s more or less what we’re looking at here with the forthcoming new shades of Retro Matte. They’re SO interior shade based – or you could say architectural – that I can imagine a feature wall in any of them! I have three shades here to show you.
While these are totally my clothing palette, they’re not, on a personal level, shades I’d ever wear, but there are 12 so maybe I’ll find one in amongst them. But, when there is every colour lipstick in the whole world existing already, it’s good to find some that genuinely feel quite fresh and new – better versions of existing greiges.
From bottom to top in the swatch: Ess-presso, Flesh Stone and Young Attitude. They launch in February for £17.50 each.

Farrow & Ball indeed! lol
If only I were in my 20’s again, I would buy these colors! I remember wearing some chocolate lipliner from Dior back then and thinking I great I looked. In actuality I probably didn’t but you know when you are young anything can appear like it is beautifying the young beauty mind!
I really like the look of these and always have but was never really fond of any of the shades before, until now! 😀
