This little beauty has had me confused all weekend – does it shift pink or doesn’t it?! I think I have to say it does, but it’s the merest nuance. Suddenly I’m thinking it would be really handy to be a tetrachromat (someone with the genetic ability to see 100 million hues imperceptible to the average naked eye). MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish Beaming Blush is part of the forthcoming In The Spotlight Collection (as I think are the new MAC Strobes).
I think whether you can see that pink shift is going to be dependent on the light you’re wearing the product in – I’ve looked at this in all lights and sometimes it has a pink backdrop and sometimes it doesn’t. In the swatch here, it doesn’t and yet I’m looking at it in sunshine on my arm now and it really does. And, it’s super-shimmery. Bottom line is you’re wasting your money if you can’t find the light! Camera says no trying to catch that nuance.

I just love how MAC is always creating new products. It just keeps the creative juices flowing and I love it. This looks so pigmented and the color would be perfect for me.
