Eden, the newest lipstick from Lipstick Queen, is described as an apple red, and sure enough, it has that rosy, red apple hue that is hard to replicate outside nature. What’s interesting is the inclusion of green pearl that is intended to mimic a holographic shimmer. This aspect doesn’t really work for me – it looks a tiny bit sparkly and I cannot detect any green pearl (but I don’t think you’re supposed to be able to see it) but doesn’t stop it from being a beautiful shade.
I was trying to describe the colour on Periscope yesterday which is difficult to do because it has aspects (to my eye) of pink, red and coral. When you really drill down, it’s a very interesting blend of hues. Lipstick Queen Eden is launching in April at SpaceNK for £22.

I must admit the green sparkle does sound a bit odd but the actual lipstick shade is gorgeous! Good on Lipstick Queen for always doing something a bit different too, their launches never fail to surprise me xx

Beautiful colour and packaging. If I weren’t already loaded with shades, this would be top on my list.
