The Laura Mercier Leading Ladies Collection has just launched – each box contains a gloss, a lipstick and a little mirror. Really, they’re so elegant – the mirror is a lovely touch as it’s unexpectedly tucked in at the back of the box.
The colourway I have here is Lady Sophia (I am going to assume for Sophia Loren, because the two other shade options are Lady Catherine and Lady Vivien.. but I might be leaping to the wrong conclusion as I have no other information on them.. but added to their main title, Leading Ladies…I’m guessing it’s that). It’s a soft (but not pale) pink that’s very pretty and wearable. I will say that both the gloss and the lipstick, but in particular the gloss, has quite a strong vanilla scent, so if you can’t bear it then avoid this.
The other shades are a brighter pink (Vivien) and a softer pink (Catherine) but I think of the three this one is the easiest wear. Love the packaging which is so meticulously done and I think it’s a perfect girl-friend, sister, mum kind of a gift, coming in at just under £30 HERE.
