The Kiko Cosmic Starlets really does have some absolute stars. I’ve pulled out my favourites from the range, starting with the Angel Kiss Candy Cane Lip Scrub and Balm. You really have to like your products super-super sweet – this is all the marshmallows, all the sugar cubes, all the cookies, chocolates and cakes rolled into one! But, scrub wise, it does the job (with sugar grains, of course) and while the red balm won’t take any prizes, it’s softening and gives a hint of red to the lip and plenty of sheen.

It’s £11.90 and also comes in Champagne & Strawberries and Milk & Honey.

So, the gigantic glitter infused red brush (glitter in the base of the brush) really feels like a relic from the 80’s but if you love to glitter-up, then you won’t do better than this! It’s absolutely bursting with silver glimmers and is very generous on the dispersal; too generous, really – it’s more of a unicorn cough than a discreet light catcher. Personally, I love glimmer in the hair – just a touch – rather than on the body, but unless you are a) a unicorn or b) adore body twinkles, beware! It’s £19 and is also scented. Of course it is.

The Moondust Face Powder is my top recommend – it’s rose gold gleam like no other I’ve seen. It’s absolutely stunning! Kiko recommend it as a blush, and if you love a gleaming, burnished cheek it’s a winner. I also think this is going to look every kind of wonderful on darker skin tones – it’s so light-shot you just have to own the look and of its type, it’s really the best ever. It’s £13.90 with a mauve option as well, which I’m less enthusiastic about.

Finally, the brush set in the main image is a selection of 5 brushes; synthetic, soft and swirly and they come in a red satin pouch. Actually, the pouch is really nothing to shout about but the brushes look very stylish. I haven’t put them to the test; they’re interesting in that the level of the bristles is formed into swirls which gives them a different look to any other brushes I’ve seen. The set is £44.
