If you ever wanted to really focus on a brand undergoing change, take a look at Guerlain. I’m telling you, it’s going to be a very interesting journey. First of all, the fragrance, La Petite Robe Noir, has evolved into a make up range. Beginning with the most beautiful nail polishes with the lid that we all recognise from La Petite Robe Noir in eight shades, and twenty shades of lipstick, again with that lid, I am absolutely sure that it’s only the beginning of this sub-range.

If you notice, La Petite Robe Noir lipstick isn’t dissimilar to lip products you see from Dior and from Givenchy. That’s because they all belong to the same holding company, LVMH. Dior, in particular, are hitting on a visual concept that really works with their lipstick designs, so it makes all kinds of sense to roll it out through other brands in the same family.

I have absolutely terrible light today, and actually only one lipstick, so I will swatch it when I can do it justice.
I’ll cover the Guerlain Spring Glow for 2016 tomorrow, but for now, Guerlain is absolutely one to watch. This is a brand that not only has a very loyal consumer base to please, both in make up and skin care, but also one that needs to recruit a younger audience. The beginning of La Petite Robe Noir makeup journey is now.
