It was only going to be a matter of time before Dior Air foundation was brought to a more affordable level – the GOSH Foundation Drops are quite a close approximation, but not quite so sophisticated in feel or formula. However, the formula does contain Argan Oil and Antiderm (a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient, apparently) which gives it good slip, although I felt it was running slightly to the dry side in texture.

It is silky on the skin – beautifully buildable so you can have it sheer or take it up a notch, so if you like the idea of a very fluid base and the droplet trend, GOSH Foundation Drops are really pretty decent. On the downside, there are so far only five shades so you need to keep everything crossed that you’re a match (dark skin tones need not apply). The other interesting ingredient (this formula, by the way, does contain silicones in the form of Velvesil DM) is Cosphaderm which is anti-microbal, anti-irritant and anti-acne. I haven’t had time to really look into this ingredient, but it sounds interesting, particularly if you’re prone to break outs.

So, GOSH Foundation Drops launch any day now (August) for £12.99.
