I’m not often lost for words over beauty products, but these. Wow! You might remember Cover FX Custom Drops from a while back – I know I’ve blogged them at least once. The creator is ex-MAC and they’re the original drops of pigment to shade adjust your foundation before everyone else started copying. These launched into SpaceNK a little while ago and literally had a same day sell out (thanks to Nic & Sam featuring them I think! Pixiwoo power!) – the re-stock is now in, and even that is flying out with a couple of colours already sold out . I’m just saying.

Yes, they really do look *that* metallic in real life. They’re incredible really – as metallic as I’ve ever seen any makeup and a million light years better than Photography Fluid that was, I think, the first to really dabble with this type of product.

The two I have here are Celestial, a pinkish gold/silver mix, and Candlelight, a warm toned bronze/gold.

They are so intensely metallic but remember that you only need one drop to customize a foundation or hydrator, and maybe two or three for a body lotion. I mixed mine with a bit of Chanel Hydra Flash Balm to swatch on my arm.

Usually, it’s nearly impossible to catch radiance on camera – this is so high beam that I had no problem at all. This one is Celestial.

This is Candleglow. When you mix with a moisturiser or base (which you have to do), you get a) the sheen of the moisturiser and b) this enhancement of glow with tiny, tiny elements of shimmer. Really, truly tiny though. If there was ever a light-bringer to face and body, it’s the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops. Skin illumination like no other – it’s not fool-proof, you’ll have to play with it a bit but oh wow! So, if you’re going to, do it now. These are both still in stock (at time of writing) and they’re £34 each, HERE.
