The Petits Rituels Wax Melts are my first experience of wax melts, and they are absolutely lovely! I’ll confess that I didn’t even know what a wax melt was until these appeared. It turns out that you need a wax melter (Yankee’s start at £12 ish HERE) that has space for the melt on top and space for a tea light to burn underneath to start melting the wax and release the fragrances.
Petits Rituels Wax MeltsBecause the Petits Rituels Wax Melts come in a little cotton bag tied nicely with ribbon, you could use them to fragrance your wardrobe or drawers without going anywhere near a match. They’re all shaped like little jellies or cakes which makes them so pretty it seems a shame to actually melt them. Fragrance wise, options are Minty BonBon (Spearmint/Lemongrass), Provence (Lavender, Geranium and Ylang Ylang), Sensual Healing (Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Rose, Lavender), Orange Gourmande (Citrus/Petitgrain), Floral Sensations (Rose, Pelargonium, Lavender) and By The Fire (Cinnamon/Citrus). The only one I don’t really like is Floral Sensations, and I’d probably pass on By The Fire unless it was Christmas, but really, these are so pretty and smell as described.
It’s £10 for two, but apparently you get 10 hours of burn from each one. As a first experience of wax melts, this is a really good one! I’m pleased to have tried them. You can find Petits Rituels Wax Melts HERE.
