Nina Ricci Luna

Luna is described as an echo of the original Nina fragrance, which is super-fruity, powdery-sweet (pink bottle) and heftily gourmande. The middle notes are Red Toffee Apple, Praline, Vanilla, so I think you can get the picture from there! However, if you find Nina sweet, wait til you meet Luna.

Nina Ricci Luna

It’s kind of like when cake meets donuts and for anyone who likes the Angel type category of fragrance, you will love it!  Personally, it’s way too much for me – there’s no fruity opener to save it, and instead a burst of caramel, honey and vanilla. There are floral notes – orange blossom, and some fruit – wild berries, but from the get-go all I can smell is cake.

But, the bottles! I don’t think the expressive L’Air Du Temps bottle, designed by Lalique has been beaten, but these are just so detailed and pretty, representing apples. Luna has gold metal accents, while Nina has silver. Either way, these are the most lovely ornaments. It’s £36.50 HERE.
