Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc

Visually, the new Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc is really exciting to me: it’s a creamy raspberry opaque bottle that just looks stunning. Fragrance wise, it’s not my kind of perfume but I can see that it will be a crowd pleaser for those who love musky florals with a rose edge.

Narciso Rodriguez Fleur Musc

Because fragrance isn’t something I’m particularly good at, I usually check across other sites and it’s scoring a very high 4.82 out of 5 on Fragrantica.com as well as a high vote for longevity. So, notes wise, pink flowers, rose, pink peppercorns, musc, amber and patchouli. It does end up rosy on the skin but the patchouli and amber just keep it from being fresh enough for my personal taste. However, it’s a deep and generous fragrance that’s not so overpowering that you couldn’t wear it daily and yet still special and dramatic enough to wear for evening, too.

The opaque bottles are a signature look for Narsico Rodriguez – when I looked at them all together I started getting interior design ideas. It’s £40 for 30ml and available at Escentual from 27th February.
