You can tell I’m craving brights! The new Michael Kors fragrance, Sexy Blossom, arrived right on time to save me from another grey day. It’s a proper burst of spring – newly launched into the The Fragrance Shop on pre-order now (HERE) to be sent out on the 6th and everywhere else from 3rd of February.
So, a quick run through the notes – lychee, rose petals and dewy leaves followed by pink peony, pink orchid, lily of the valley and freesia, ending on ambrox, musk and sandalwood. Apart from rose, I found it hard to pick out any of these – the whole story is one of sweet, heavyish florals with a musk driven body that is at odds with the fresher season it’s designed for. Personally, and unusually for Michael Kors fragrance, it’s not one I’d pick out myself. The packaging is beautiful, as always, and I love the fact that the juice is pink adding to the happy, sweet vibe.

Love the look as well, but florals never work for me. Bummer.
