Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer
Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer

I’m really late with this review – Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer has been sitting in the waiting box for far too long. If you’re a vanilla fan, then this fusion of flowers and vanilla will totally float your boat. I’m have more of a taste for vanilla than I used to but it’s really not something that resonates with me other than to remind me of cakes, but I feel it’s nicely done in this fragrance because it hasn’t turned out completely foodie dominated.

The navy bottle, gold lid and golden shimmers really are all of the glam – for some reason Michael Kors Midnight Shimmer made think of holiday evenings where you’ve made an effort to look extra nice in a way that you might not do at home. It seems a perfect match for warm evening glamour with jasmine, musk and vanilla – without wishing to gild the lily, it makes me think of dinner by the sea, flickering candlelight, special occasions and happiness. And now I want to go on holiday.

On the downside, it’s really expensive at £79 for 100ml (HERE). You might want to search the internet for offers.
