Really, this is such a sweet collection. The MAD Beauty Alice In Wonderland Collection is part of a wider Disney inspired launch, including Tinkerbell, Winnie The Pooh and Grumpy from Snow White (yes, that one’s for men!). We’re not talking serious beauty products, although they are perfectly functional – this range is all about the pretty. Why would you not want your lip balm in a pink tea-cup?
The Alice collection seems to be the biggest, with products ranging from pamper sets (£9.99) to dinky little lip balm duos (£5.99) with the fragrance being ginger-pear across all of it (but it just smells fruity-sweet to me – it’s quite pretty). I love the bath decanter best I think, at £7.99.
The eyeshadow palette is £7.99 in a neutral tone with a golden highlighter – although this series is nominally called ‘Never Too Old’ it’s really quite young and this is good starter palette.
Where things really start to resonate with me is in the ‘Classics’ collection – three make up bags featuring orginal drawings from before Disney got updated and fancy. I have the Dumbo one here (£7.99) but the Mickey Mouse and Lady & The Tramp are also charming. I’d definitely give these to friends as gifts because they’re very evocative.
I’ve focussed on Alice, but if you want to see the other ranges, they’re HERE. While it’s quite clearly a gifting range, I think it has the potential to make thousands of little girls, young and old, very happy!

Oh Dear Bumblebees
Tea cup lip balms seem nice for my daughters (and maybe a sneaky one for myself).
