I’m such a sucker for the Heathcote & Ivory Bathing Flowers – this must be the third time that the brand has brought out a fragranced, dissolving flower range for you to sprinkle on top of your bath water. This time the fragrance is Atlas Silks and I’ll say straight away that they’re not very generous in the perfume stakes, but I really don’t care. Believe it or not, popping petals in my bath still hasn’t got old!
I actually used my last box to illustrate loads of blog photos before they went down the plug hole so they’ve done double duty, and I’ve also gifted some to friends when they’re not well – it seems such a cheerful thing to receive and a nice reminder to make that bath time into a me-time moment.
I will say that you need the water quite hot for them to dissolve completely – there’s a very light aroma of general floweriness from them with orangey notes but I’m not sure you’d buy them for their perfuming ability – it’s more for the fun of prettying up the tub. John Lewis has them HERE for £10.

These are so pretty! I remember buying bath roses when I was in middle school, though I think I prefer this more peony-like shape. I love the bright colours, too!
These are so unbelievably attractive! Not sure I could use them, I’d just want them for photo props!

Such a great gift item for bath lovers! I enjoy a good hot soak in the winter and these would be perfect. A nice touch for guest baths too.
