Ok, I’ve totally fallen for YSL’s summer look – it’s nothing short of stunning. I’ve already tried samples of:
Touche Brilliance No19 – Fuchsia Sunrise: A sparkling fuchsia pink gloss for lips packed with irridescence that brushes on a la Touche Eclat. (Look out also for the other shade Coral Sunset) £21.
Gloss Pur No8 – Pure Coral: a beautiful, sleek gloss in the kind of vibrant coral shade that immediately wakes up the face. It is quite perfumed, which I’m not a fan of, but not in a ‘cheap vanilla’ way: almost melon-y if anything. (Also look out for Pure Sorbet, Pure Hibiscus and Pure Redcurrant) £20.
La Laque No142 – Ultra Orange: I can’t explain this any better than its name….a wow, wow orange for nails. It goes on like a dream (needs two coats at least) and is super glossy. £16. (no image but there are also shades No34, Black Tulip, and No42 Ultra Violet).
The big seller I think is going to be their Fard Lumiere Aquaresistant in limited edition Ultra Blue, £20. If you can pull off brights, I can’t think of a more beautiful summer shade than this.
From end of May.

What are you doing to me? I am still crying over the lack of Chanel Orient Extreme and now I have to add this to my list, which I surely won’t be able to afford!
Hi. I’d like to email you privately about something but the email provided on your side bar isnt working…
sure – its britishbeautyblogger@googlemail.com
I actually squealed with excitement when I saw a pic of the Hibiscus lip gloss, I need it in my life. Gorgeous shades.
Hee. I totally read “Black Tulip” as “Black Turnip” 😀
I think I need that lipgloss. I love the aqualumiere formulation, but £20 a pop is just a little OTT, I think …
wow this range looks fantastic!
