This nail polish from YSL was really disappointing. In the bottle, it has a beautiful shimmer that doesn’t translate to the nail at all. I was expecting some sort of run-though of shimmer but there is nothing there at all. The colour it translates to is a dark green.. really plain and not that interesting at all. In fact it reminds me of that green that you sometimes see as exterior paint for doors! Added to that, it needed three coats to get an even distribution and even then it wasn’t perfect at the finish. ‘Applies evenly and without streaking’ as described on the website is just simply not true.
