Yankee Candles
Yankee Candles

I’d be the first to say that it’s taken me a long time to like Yankee Candles. I can’t say particularly what I didn’t like about them, other than they just didn’t interest me, particularly. However, they’ve woo’d me with coconuts and I’m a total pushover for anything that smells tropical or coconutty!

No.4 is a blend of lime and coconut, so it smells like something delicious you’d want to drink on a searingly hot day. It’s not too sweet although there are sugary notes in it, and the cermamic holder is simple and elegant. I’m starting to like ceramic holders for candles more and more – it stops you seeing the burnt bits that eventually settle into the white wax and also the lid stops it getting dusty. Wax seems to attract dust more than anything else! However, the wax itself, inside the holder is brown and that isn’t all that appealing really – so it’s just as well that you can’t actually see it.

Yankee Candle No. 4 is £14.99 which seems a very good price for such a potent candle. You can find it HERE.
