You know on days where you just feel a little too frazzled to have your senses ‘nourished’? That’s kind of how today is shaping up. But, the Woodwick At The Beach Candle has definitely given me a badly needed moment of serenity, particulary for its noisy wick which on any other day might drive me to distraction! But, the specially made cross-hatch wick is designed to give a fireside crackle sound and it’s lovely and soothing. I’ve only come across a couple of crackly wick products before but this is definitely the most realistic. #mustnotcloseeyes

The scent – At The Beach – is light; it’s more of a fresh, wild beach than a hot sunny one, although the description puts it as coconut and citrus, which I have to say, I’m not really getting much of. It’s delicate and not for you if you want a full blast of home fragrance.
