Wow! I’m so impressed with the Victoria Beckham Nails Inc collaboration – it’s rather a standard setter for celebrity collabs. The basics are that there are two nail polishes – one in Judo Red and the other in Bamboo white – that have been designed to sit alongside the Spring Summer 2015 fashion collection.
There’s a subtle Japanese element to both the bottles and the colours – presumably in line with the clothes although I haven’t seen those.
The new curve design of Nails Inc bottles has been made in Venetian glass (yes, really!) with a frosted finish with a clear panel down the side to reveal the colours. They feel almost like porcelein (although I notice that the black bottle lid marks quite easily).
So, the shades. Judo Red is very much an orange toned red – I love it, while Bamboo white has a tiny backdrop of pink. The formula has a twist, too, incorporating bamboo extracts with ‘stretchable elements’. I’ll swatch in a later post, but for now the Victoria Beckham Nails Inc collaboration is available at www.nailsinc.com for £25 each (I know, it’s a lot, but I genuinely thought it would be more!) and goes nationwide in February 2015.

They do look lovely, but that price is just taking the mickey really isn’t it? I shall pick them up from TK Maxx for £3.99 in 6 months’ time.
