This is pretty much my perfect perfume gift set! The Van Cleef & Arpels set contains four miniatures of Oriens, First, Feerie and Midnight In Paris.
All Van Cleef & Arpels fragrances have the same signature running through them – to my nose they’re all on the sweet side (which I love) but it’s grown up-sweet, not dependent on heavy vanilla. They’re all floral based although Oriens is rather spicy and Feerie is the lightest of all. Because my mum always used to wear First for special occasions when I was little, I always associate it with glamorous evenings.
This is such a lovely collection to have – the miniature bottles are all so pretty and with the exception of Evening In Paris, are quite elaborate. I’ve searched everywhere on-line and can’t find this particular set to link you to: I imagine it’s in limited edition, so I will add in the link when I’ve found details but if you spot it please do add in where you’ve seen it in the comment section.
