Yesterday, I got a glimpse of what’s coming from Urban Decay for Spring and Summer next year. I only have images that I took myself so they aren’t the best, so I’ll just highlight what I think are the most exciting of the up coming collections.

Urban Lash Mascara for False Lashes

Ok, I love the fact that UD have really listened to the trends and made a product to compliment them rather than just shovelling out some more false lashes to join the crowd. The water based mascara is slick, blackest black and perfect for those who have fair lashes that show up when adding falsies. If you prefer to add your eyeshadow after you’ve applied your false lashes (and those of use with extensions have no choice in the matter!) the mascara is black enough to erase any fall out. It’s also good for lash extensions – I gave it a go over mine and it did make them look even darker and thicker. It will retail for £12.

24/7 Glide On Shadows

It was instant love when I spotted these pencils – eyeshadows in pencil form just make life totally easy – no fall out and hard to get wrong. I swatched every single one on my hand and hours later not one had budged, so the smudgeproof and waterproof formula is excellent and very long wearing – beyond expectations, actually. There are 12 colours – my favourites being beige/gold Midnight Cowboy and mossy green Narc. They will retail at £14 each.

AfterGlow Glide-On Cheek Tints

These really are ultra-ultra sheer cheek shades that are totally wearable. In seven shades it’s easy to build to a colour density that you really like and they just merge seamlessly into your complexion. Afterglow contains Vitamins A, C and E, and also a dab of Retinol pushing the trend for skincare ingredients in make up even further. My favourite of the seven cheek shades was Bang – a wowzer coral red that I suspect will be the hit of the summer. They’ll sell for £18 each.

15 Year Anniversary Edition of 24/7 Liners

There’s also a special anniversary box of 24/7 liners in very limited quantities (25,000 worldwide): it will sell for £60, which does make a massive saving but I’ll stop there before I sound like someone who works for QVC. Needless to say, if you’re eyeing this up you’ll have to be very quick off the mark to get one. The colours are Asphyxia (new), Baked, Binge, Bourbon, Corrupt (new), Electric, Midnight Cowboy (new), Mildew, Perversion (new), Ransom, Rockstar, Stash, Stray Dog (new), Uzi (new) and Zero.
