I’ve lusted after many a pair of Tory Burch shoes but never particularly the fragrance (there is currently only one). But, this trio! Not one I don’t like and with Tory Burch being part of the Lauder group, it has Estee Lauder running right through it (don’t be thinking the horrible Modern Muse.. go back in your olfactory memory to Private Collection and so forth).

I started with Jolie Fleur Verte which is the one I thought I’d like least (get the worst over with quickly!) but it’s absolutely lovely – laden with green notes and lily of the valley and jasmine, but remaining dewy and fresh. I’d actually like a bouquet of all the flowers in this to scent my house.

Next is Jolie Fleur Rose – it’s a sweet rose that immediately made me smile (always a good sign) but it has a little bit of crispness so that it’s not cloying. I completely love this for being as near to the perfect rose fragrance for my taste that I know.

Finally, Jolie Fleur Bleue which is a tuberose and grapefruit blend and the only one I don’t feel in raptures about. Not because it isn’t pleasant.. it really is, but for personal preference, it’s not quite as ‘me’ as the others.

The Tory Burch Jolie Fleur Fragrance Collection does run sweet – on my skin the last is good in that it doesn’t disappear in a moment. It’s a small detail but each bottle has a different coloured enamel band just below the cap – very understated but a beautiful touch. If you passed any of these scents as bouquet, I think you’d stop a while to breath them in. What is most annoying is that Harrods hasn’t put this collection on line yet but it is in store if you are passing.

They’re £84 each. I totally would.
