Bath and body is a category that hasn’t seen very much excitement in recent months – there just doesn’t seem to be much thats new, exciting and luxurious all at the same time. Liberty of London have just taken the US brand, Thymes, which is so pretty, and comes in all kinds of gorgeous scents and styles – Agave Nectar, Ambersweet Orange, Kimono Rose, Moonflower and Frasier Fir to name but a few. Soaps start at £9, candles are £20 and body wash is £13.50, so it’s relatively well priced, too. I was sent samples of Tokyo Rose – it’s gorgeous – delicate though so if you love a full blown fragrance, it’s not for you. I was also sent a soap sample of Frasier Fir. Now, I can’t in all honesty get my head around pine scents – they just remind me of loo cleaner. Sorry, I know it isn’t the sophisticated way, but seriously, that is its olfactory memory implant for me. But, I will say that the soaps are bracingly fragranced – strong, thorough, and er, clean smelling, and very pretty too. The range isn’t quite yet on line but it won’t be long.
