Now then.. this is a bit intriguing. THIRDMAN colognes are reported to have a mystery celebrity behind them who remains in the shadows so the colognes aren’t ‘all about him’. Not Russell Brand, then. But I LOVE this intrigue – it could be anyone…and that could be good or bad, I guess. So, right now, I’m wearing a celebrity fragrance and have no idea who the celeb is. 

Eau Profunde is absolutely unisex – it sings on either gender because it is just so clean. If anything it errs to masculine but then that’s always rather sexy on a woman.  There are notes of amber, neroli, bergamot, lime and orange in Eau Profunde, but there are another two fragrances as well, Eau Moderne and Eau Monumentale and none of them give any clues to the un-named celeb..if indeed there even is one. Oh dear, I could tie myself in knots over this one. 

Enough to say that I would spritz this over linen and clothing any day to get that very posh-fresh smell that is everything elegant. I’m not sure I’d wear it on me but only because if I’m wearing fragrance I want it to be florally. There is some fabulous detailing on the (expensive) packaging and the bottle is so stylishly minimal in design it aches to be featured on coolhunter.com. Maybe it already has.
