By Terry Sun Designer Palette 2017

Last year’s Sun Designer Palettes were such a success that they’ve had a little revamp for this year. However, if you still have last year’s, they’re only marginally different. I pulled out one of last year’s and while it doesn’t have quite the colour vibrancy, the bronze shades are pretty much the same. The embossing for this year is a palm leaf print rather than a straight geometric pattern and the inner palette casing between the shades is gold rather than silver.

As you’d expect, the pigments are great – soft, blendable and all the things you need them to be to get a good diffusion of colour. You can pick out shades or swirl for an over all effect: I’ve tried the gold highlight on my lids and it’s absolutely fine for a shimmery wash of colour.

(The irony of cold induced goosebumps while swatching a sun palette!!) This particular palette, Tropical Sunset, is good for mid tones but there is a more pinky toned version, Savannah Love, which is more similar to last year’s Light & Tan Vibes. They’re definitely in treat territory at £65, but I think if you want one summer bronze/blush combo, and no more, then everything you need is here. You can find it HERE.
