I’m like a magpie when it comes to anything shiny! And, believe me, the Stila Magnificent Metals Eye Liners are ultra-ultra shiny! The colour I have here is Metallic Gunmetal which describes it perfectly; a pewter-ish, deep silver.

Consistencyy wise, it’s interesting.. if I can liken it to anything, I’d say firm cake mixture; it’s a little loose, but the pigment quotient is off the scale and it is absolutely shimmer packed so that it literally gleams on the eye.

It’s more of an applicator than a brush – because the end is a silicone (rubber-feeling) tip for application, meaning that you can go heavy or light, a thin or a thick line quite easily. To be honest, I found it a little unwieldy to use – maybe because I’ve never come across such a thing before – and would probably be happier with a brush even if you do have to wash it every time.

And, here’s what it does in the light! Even if you blend it out and don’t wear it so concentrated, it is SO shimmery that your lids look wet. I’m so impressed with this. I don’t know how much it will cost (I don’t expect it to be cheap as the Magic Metallic Shadows were really expensive), but one in your make-up arsenal is going to really brighten things up. No confirmed date, but I imagine late spring.
