I’ve had time to wear and test my new Stila Lip Glaze – it really hasn’t lost its appeal! No other brands seem to have managed to harness that milky undertone in the colours, and of course the colour palettes are right up my street. The gloss I got at the launch was Amaretto and never was there a more perfect shade for me. The Glazes don’t wear as long as say, Bobbi Brown, but I’m still pretty impressed because neither do they disappear after a nano-second like so many.
Stila has to get to grips somehow with the discount sites, which of course, is bad news for consumers, but good news for the longevity of the brand in the UK. I’m not quite sure how they can tackle the issue, but more controlled distribution seems inevitable. The Lip Glazes are £15 and are already available at www.escentual.com and also www.feelunique.com although I’ve spotted them for £9.99 at discount sites (not, I might add in the colours I wanted).

I have bought a set of these some time ago but I always reach for other glosses, for some reason I am not a big fan of these.
But I would like to try some other products from the brand.
So excited that Stila is back in the UK! Love the lip glazes, they’re the best glosses I’ve ever used, I hope they’re bringing back the plumping glazes too, they smell delicious!
I LOVE Stila! I’m so glad its coming back to the UK. I’ve heard that its going to be in Boots around July time. This makes me super happy. Fingers crossed it comes to a Boots near me. But I guess there is always Boots.com xx
I bought Stila’s lipglaze in vanilla..AMAZING! It is slightly pigmented and gives your lips a light gold shimmer – which means you can wear it on its own or over a darker colour for gorgeously glam lips! Welcome back Stila! xx
Really glad Stila is returning to the UK but I don’t really understand what happened to the brand. The last time I purchased it was from Space NK when I was at university in about 2005, but as you say, it is now on discount sites & TK Maxx etc. It is off putting because it makes you wonder if the quality has gone down hill to justify such heavy reductions. Hopefully they will stock it in my local Boots so I can judge for myself soon x
