I’ve had a very quick sunny break over the past couple of days – just a total chill-out time with friends in Portugal. We hit the best weather – three days of beautiful sun with a light breeze to take the sweat off! No dipping in the sea – far too cold – I didn’t even dip a toe in the pool! But, my little beauty saviour of the holiday was the Aveda Hair & Body Cleanser mini.

I always think that a shampoo/body wash double up ends up doing neither job very well but this is absolutely an exception, especially as I’d forgotten any conditioner. If I had dipped a toe – well, my head – in either the sea or the pool, the wash contains ingredients to remove salt, chlorine and product build-up (ha – no beachy waves for me!) while organic coconut oil gives hair a gorgeous shine and finish. It smells so pretty, too – neroli, ylang yland and cistus, making it very fresh but holiday-ish at the same time and cleanses the skin of sun product very nicely.

I think possibly my mini isn’t a retail product as I can’t find it on line – full size it’s £16.50 – but well worth decanting if you’re on a short break. You can find it HERE.
