Bobbi Brown

I’m noticing more and more new product launches for eyebrows that actually take grey brows into consideration. It’s like beauty world has suddenly woken up and realised that it’s not just heads that go grey.

I’m a huge fan of the Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper which now comes in Slate – a medium, deep grey. Like blonde hairs, grey brows benefit from definition if only to make your eyes more noticable. There still remains virtually nothing though for white or silver brows which need only the lightest of colour touches to bring them to life a little more.

Other new launches that include grey are Illamasqua’s Precision Brow Gel in Stare (it’s dark.. you need the tiniest amount and it’s top left in the picture above) but a wand applicator is always much easier to use than creating fine lines with a fine-point brow brush.

Anastasia Beverly Hills also offers a pencil in Granite that errs to the darker side of grey for £15.50. If you’ve dropped your brows of your list of things to do to your face, opt for the cheaper GOSH liner version to see if you feel it brings anything back to your eye definition and you can upgrade if you like. From personal choice, the Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper is far and away the best for ease of use and a colour that is sympathetic to grey brows rather than hell bent on making them as dark as possible. It’s HERE.

MAC offers a Veluxe pencil Brow Liner (£15.50) in a mid-tone grey and GOSH at Superdrug offers a Grey Brown for £5.49 with a brush applicator at one end (above).
