Robbie Honey Candle

Everything about this candle is spot on for me, from the cool, grey, matte finish jar to the gorgeous smell of lily of the valley. My favourite candle in the world is from the Paris flagship Dior store (the only blow about Mr BBB not working in Paris any more) and Robbie Honey’s version of Muguet de Bois is very, very similar. I’d say it’s cleaner, fresher, less perfume note laden and more flower focussed than Dior 1 (that’s it’s name!), but nonetheless, lily of the valley always makes me think of Paris, not the British countryside.

Robbie Honey Candle

In terms of throwing out fragrance into the atmosphere, I can’t knock this. As soon as it was lit, big wafts of lily of the valley emerged, rich and fresh at the same time…it’s pretty obvious that florist, Robbie Honey, has an understanding of what it is not to mess about with a flower (and interestingly, I’ve just checked his site and it turns out that he has worked for Dior!). I’d flag the Robbie Honey Muguet de Bois candle as the perfect wedding candle – it’s got beauty, romance, freshness and grace, and I don’t think you can ask for more than that.

The Robbie Honey Candle collection is HERE and candles are £42 each.
