Elemis Pro Intense Set
Elemis Pro Intense Set

I thought I would quickly do an update on the Elemis Pro Intense Lift Effect Super System because I’m now pretty much at the end of the box. Initially, I was wowed… and I’m still wowed to be honest. Using half a phial of serum morning and evening definitely made such a difference to the firmness of my skin.

The box contains Pro-Intense Lift Effect Super Serum x 30 1.5ml vials, Pro-Intense Lift Effect Jowl and Chin Mask x 4, Pro-Intense Lift Effect Night Cream 15ml and Pro-Intense Eye and Lip Contour Cream 5ml. I didn’t ever get round to using the jowl and chin masks..they just looked a bit faffy to me and there isn’t nearly enough Pro-Intense Lift Effect Night Cream in a 15ml tube to see you through the month. Skin dryness is an issue; there’s something in the phials that, while firming, leaves skin a little thirsty and I found I needed more moisturiser than usual.

Apart from those nit-picks, it’s the lipids and lifting actives in the phials where the magic really is. I had a little look at what the product claims to do and apart from delivering a lift effect it also claims “Facial contours appear firmed and shaped, as if lifted, and cheeks and jawline appear more defined.” I think I could say that facial contours do appear firmed and lifted – specifically I noticed in my cheeks and lower face, but not sure I could say the same for the jaw line. My skin felt different while using the product and those effects seem to have lasted even now I’m not using the phials. When I say different, I mean it feels tougher and stronger, not so soft and floppy – it’s an unusual sensation although I am happy to say that my skin texture looked the same and didn’t reflect the tough feeling.

All in all, for a big event and if you’re prepared to plan ahead I would definitely recommend this system – it has delivered such strong results in a very difficult area to tackle that it’s well worth it. It’s worth bearing in mind that it is aimed at the over 50’s – I’m not that target market but have still seen good results. It’s £155 HERE but do scout the Internet and specifically QVC for any offers or bargains after Christmas.
