Philosophy always does Christmas really, really well. It’s visually beautiful, the products are lovely and they’ve got the right mix of humour and nostalgia to make it current and relevant.

This little Tinsel Town set is my favourite from this year with a sparkly gloss and a three-in-one shower gel, bubblebath and shampoo (although to be honest I would never wash my hair with it). With a raspberry-ish scent, it’s £16 HERE

Nobody does the Christmas goodies like Philosophy, but a quick scoot around beauty cyberworld tells me the best of it is to be had on QVC. For some reason, QVC manage to nab exclusives such as Snow Angel and Melting Marshmallow collections as well as the Three Piece Sweet Shoppe and the Snow Mittens and Shoes (for hands and feet) sets. It’s all a little bit foodie for me, but can’t help loving Gingerbread Girl – perfect for a hot bath while the snow swirls around outside.

  1. I know what you mean about the foodie thing, but I also thing Christmas is the only time we can, legitimately, as adults, get away with smothering ourselves in gingerbread “flavoured” body lotion…
