Yes, you read the title correctly! There’s brave and there’s really brave, so hats off to bride and groom, Cara and David, for letting Facebook decide their wedding. As part of a project launched by Pearl Drops, Facebookers have been deciding every aspect of Cara and David’s big day from the flowers all the way to the dress. The dress?! To be fair, the couple were allowed to request options with voters having the final say, but still.. what a risk!
Cara and David’s story is lovely – they met as youngsters and re-met after Cara had a dream about David. She tracked him down and found him seriously ill in hospital with yet-to-be diagnosed Crohns Disease. As a Crohns Disease sufferer herself, there was nobody better placed to understand the condition. Even after struggling with the illness, falling into debt and an operation, they came through it together, stronger than ever and with three beautiful daughters to complete the perfect picture.
