Original rock chick, Jo Wood, has probably got weightier things on her mind like impending divorce proceedings from bad Ronnie right now than plugging her ECOCERT certified scent. I was sent a small sample of Amka Organic Eau de Toilette today – it smells soooo pretty; rose otto, jasmine, neroli and bergamot with some fresh green mandarin and orange blosson to make it really sparkle. Shame it didn’t last more than an hour before the fragrance completely disappeared – I checked with a friend that it wasn’t just my jaded palette that couldn’t smell it any more – it really wasn’t there. She’d be singing if it was that easy to get rid of Ronnie.

I absolutely love this Jo Wood scent, the combination of neroli and bergamot gets me into the summer mood. Unfortunately it just doesn’t last and I can’t smell it long after I spray it, which is a real pity as I now leave it on my dressing table admiring it rather than using it!
