I’ve seen the Panda Face Mask around and about on the internets, but when one actually landed at my desk, I had to investigate. I don’t know even know where it came from; it’s just one of those things that ‘arrives’.
Apart from stating the very obvious – that it has a panda face – there’s something else that’s unusual about this mask; a colour change element. When the eyes go from black to pink, that’s when you know you’re cooked, so to speak. The instructions are in Chinese (I think, or maybe Korean), the brand is Para La Piel and it contains Vitamin C so I’m guessing it’s a brightening mask.
Would you panda?

I’d love to give that a go just for a laugh more than anything else. Tony Moly has a whole Panda’s Dream range of whitening products where the premise seems to be that the panda dreams of his black eyes becoming white (not sure if that’s racist or not!) so this seems to be taking it one step further having the panda eyes go pink when “done”.
This looks brilliant! I love a sheet mask, haven’t worn one in a while tho x
Aww this is so cute! I love anything Vitamin C so you can count me in! x

Would I panda? Possibly… I have recently been pretty underwhelmed by some sheet masks/under eye masks I’ve tried (roloxin springs to mind) so I’m not sure I would just go with one for its novelty factor. I’d rather invest in one I know works (Omorovicza or Ren, I’m looking at you).
That said vitamin C sounds promising (are the ingredients in Chinese too?!). And I love the idea of TONYMOLY based solely on the packaging so I can’t be a novelty free zone.

I love an animal face mask. I take selfies of them to put on Instagram and embarrass my teenager. Here’s my panda https://www.instagram.com/p/5t9BHzDs13/?taken-by=joannemallon
I am not too keen on those gimmicky masks. There are much better sheet masks out there that work really well without animal faces (like L’Herboflore or Mediheal or AHC) and that I enjoy using frequently.
That said, every now and again these suck me in big time and I cave!
It’s not chinese, I can tell you that much =)
Definitely Korean. These masks are so popular in Asia – I’ve seen lots of crazy animal masks including tigers, elephants and various scary looking ones but not tried them yet. I’m really keen on some masks by Korean brand, ‘Beyond’ at the moment, they’re super moisturising.
