That flipping piece of ivy that I didn’t notice! Argh! Don’t let my poor gardening skills distract you from the main event, the Origins Souffle Gift Set, that contains two small size pots of the notoriously whippy body cream and two of the light as air souffle. If you haven’t come across these before, they’re high on fragrance – even opening the pots, you get a big blast of perfume and that’s absolutely the point of these.
Inside, you’ll find Ginger Soufflé Whipped body cream, Calm to Your Senses Lavender and Vanilla body soufflé, Gloomaway Grapefruit body soufflé and Vanilla Soufflé Whipped body cream, all in 90ml sizes, and thankfully, they all smell exactly as described. Origins hasn’t messed about with any convoluted fragrances – my favourite is the sweet grapefruit hit of Gloomaway that really does put a smile on your face when you inhale that very specific citrus. Well, it does on mine anyway!
Origins Souffle Gift SetAs I’ve previously mentioned, I’m on a bit of a rediscovery journey with this brand – I have always rated them for bath and body, but grown less interested in skincare. However, I’ve got some masks to try because past experience tells me that Origins give good mask, so I’ll keep you updated. The Christmas offerings are lovely – more so probably because there are a lot of ‘value’ sets, so this set is £25 and has a £50 value (although the maths on the website isn’t quite adding up!). Origins are a brand I really like & have used their products for years. They seem to come out with the best value Christmas sets each year. I haven’t tried their Body Souffles – yet, but they sound luxurious and pampering.
