What makes the cut from Final Cut, the pinky-peachy perfection from NARS that launched yesterday? Well, I like the whole range – there isn’t one product I wouldn’t happily put in the keep drawer, but the Adelaide Illuminator stands out as being something very useful in more ways than one.
I swatched this before Christmas when I posted about the range and although it’s a little shimmery for my taste, you can use it s a blush or highlighter…and I’d even say you could do a little wash over the lids (with a primer) to enliven and brighten the eye area. It’s a really soft pink shade that you can build up so I feel it’s very versatile. I’m not sure what would happen if you dabbed it on the lips because it’s not designed for that but it could be really pretty – or it could be pretty awful in a frosted pink 1980’s kinda way! I honestly can’t imagine using this as a blush, it would probably be way too shimmery for my liking. But for the eyelids? It seems like a cool idea 🙂 I think this whole collection is just so darn pretty!

NARS Adelaide is beautiful, though it should be mentioned I’ve yet to meet a pale pink I don’t love!
The collection looks beautiful. I’m wanting the whole collection more and more, but since I can’t afford it all, I think Adelaide is so pretty it will suffice.
