There is no doubt that this palette is a thing of beauty – I can’t tell you how much I didn’t want to disrupt it by swatching! But, in fact it has revealed itself to be quite practical.

The black shade that dominates the blue is actually an overspray on top of the blue section of the palette so in fact once you have brushed it away you have a trio palette of black (solid on the left hand side), blue and green which makes it far more useable than tip-toeing around the detailing with your brush. However, it does mean after a time you lose the picture.

The colours come up a little on the light side, but are buildable – shown above with one stroke of a soft brush, so you can see how easy it is to add another layer. I think usability of these palettes is going to come down to whether you can bear to disrupt the art!

I particularly love the mirror inscription – “I love low lights and trick mirrors”, a quote from Andy Warhol that I couldn’t agree more with.

The palettes are £39.50 and currently exclusive to SpaceNK HERE
