Every now and again NARS throws out a very limited edition product – 413 BLKR is named for the New York store (one of my favourite streets in New York, Bleeker Street). The NARS 413 BLKR illuminator is one such product that will only be available in the New York store or on-line.
The illuminator is a slightly off white – more of a cream really, but there are elements of pale gold; I’m imagining this on paler skin and it really does throw off a lot of light.
I’m not one for illuminating really but I know there are lots of NARS illuminator fans out there who swear by it as the best illuminating fluid ever. There’s also a NARS 413 BLKR blush in a raspberry shade.
The blush is that kind of Snow White rosy cheek look – again I’d say it was more of a pale skin look – but there’s plenty of pigment so darker tones can use it, too.
So, both these limited edition 413 BLKR products are available on-line in the UK from 1st April but it’s about time London had a NARS Store – 100 OXFD, anyone?

Yes for a Nars store in OXF ST, definitely. Why don’t they do it? In my dreams though, there’d be massive Caudalie and Nuxe stores. I still need to visit these ones, small for now! Going to L’occitane store soon too, very exciting. Easy to guess I’m French, with all these names. I still remember the day, on a French local news channel FR3, in the early 90s, when a very young couple were presenting their brand new Caudalie brand. I knew it would become big, as I fell in love with the story and products before even smelling them.
I love the Nars illuminator in Copacabana. This might be a must try for me!
