Sooo, you know that Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Top Coat that kept cracking over whatever polish it was on top of? Finally, I have a statement from Nails Inc so that you can return it if yours comes from the batch with the cracking issue and swap it for one that doesn’t crack (hopefully). Here’s what Nails Inc have to say:
We have been investigating the issues that a few customers have been experiencing with the Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Plumping Top Coat. We would like to confirm that we carried out thorough and detailed user trials for this product as we do on all new products. We did not encounter any problems at all during these extensive trials. We are unclear why some customers have had a disappointing experience with the product.
We would like to advise that application over dry polish is the best way to apply this top coat product. Therefore, please try applying the Kensington Caviar Gel Effect Plumping Top Coat over polish that has had a few minutes to dry time. We will continue to investigate the issues that have been raised. We are however pleased to have received many positive reviews and feedback from customers who have enjoyed using this product. Plumping topcoat? ….how does it plump? x
It doesn’t physically plump Andii – it just makes the polish look a bit fatter on the nail.
