Mio Gym Kit

There are so many things I love about the Mio brand – and to be fair, a few things I don’t – ever since I was introduced to Liquid Yoga and Double Buff Body Scrub, I’ve been hooked. Mio is at the lower end of luxury, price wise, so I realise that their target is busy-on-the-go women who just want stuff that works with the minimum of effort, but also it’s a rather practical range, which is why I’m pretty impressed with these post-gym wipes.

I used to be a gym devil! If I wasn’t doing the high intensity circuit training or an aerobics class every single day, I wasn’t happy. I can only now dream of the arms and abs that I had then, but actually, I got a little bit too addicted to it and had to go cold turkey. I never went back, instead, preferring to take exercise in the form of walking my dog and occasional swimming. Actually, I’m lying about the swimming – it’s maybe once a year – but suddenly an hour’s dog walking doesn’t sound like very much! But I do remember from my gym days the absolute faff of showering afterwards and also wondering why I felt I had to when I was only going home. I also remember women who used the hair dryers to give their pubes a blow dry (they go BIG!) and being excruciatingly embarrassed at all the nakedness. God knows why – I am not shy at all, but somehow, collectively, it was too much nude blow drying for my comfort zone! So, body wipes, that will see you home or out for a drink of kale juice seem like such a fantastic idea – the Mio Gym Kit is a set of 10 Body Swipes (they smell sort of like salad) that are much bigger than face wipes and you just swipe and go. The main ingredient is Aloe Vera (hence the salad smell) but they’ve also got a splash of orange, lemon and cucumber (I know, practically a smoothie in a swipe – oh wait, did I invent something there?!) so you do feel and smell very fresh and refreshed. Also in the Mio Gym Kit is the Work Out Wonder Invigorating Muscle Motivating Gel – properly spearminty and gives a cooling, tingling feeling to the skin.

I think the Mio Gym Kit is a great, low effort thing to have – anything to skip the post work out shower for the comfort of home and absolutely anything to avoid ever seeing anyone make their pubes go bouffant again. The Mio Gym Kit is £21 HERE and although it’s probably priced as a ‘treat’, I’d gift this to a gym or yoga bunny any day.
