You’ve probably noticed from my swatches that stars are a thing for me. My star bracelet hasn’t left my wrist since the day I got it. So, of course, I’m fixated by the Miller Harris Star Candles Set. I love the whole constellation them going on, and of course, the names: Rock Star, Wild Star and Superstar. This is definitely a unisex gift if you’re struggling for man-presents.
Sometimes (to my nose) Miller Harris knocks it out of the park and other times I find their fragrances quite bland. But this is a good selection, with Wild Star focussing on woody, comforting notes, Super Star on energising freshness and green figs and Rock Star on smoky birch and black tobacco (which makes it heady and sweet). So if you match your candle to your mood, I’m fairly sure you’ll run through all the emotions that these embody (where’s the Christmas Fury candle!).
The Miller Harris Star Candles are a little bit of a sting on the pocket at £75 (they’re small size candles but not votives) but in their navy glass jars with gold writing, they’re truly beautiful.

They look gorgeous! But pity to hear about quite bland scents. Well, it is Miller Harris without founder Lyn Harris now. She left to open her own brand Perfumer H, haven’t tested this line yet.
Basically same story as Jo Malone and Jo Loves 🙁
