I had to take this one outside into the garden to take pictures – it’s so huge! The Makeup Revolution Chest is gigantic – my first tip is not to try and buy it in-store because it also weighs a ton – it’s absolutely an on-line order.

There are twenty-five drawers – generously sized – and each drawer contains one (or two in some cases) MUR product; everything from palettes to nail polish to lipstick.

In terms of build, it’s actually very sturdy although made from cardboard and will keep far more than it contains when you buy it, so for make up storage the Makeup Revolution Chest really is very useful. Makeup Revolution has such a huge following now – when you think this brand is only a couple of years old, it’s quite something. The success of the brand is in part down to their social media outreach; other brands could take a lesson here. Makeup Revolution their channels so much about the people who buy the brand, the looks they create and the ways they use the products that you never feel there is any brand arrogance. So many beauty brands make their channels all about them when really, social is all about sharing, spontenaeity and respect which this brand does instinctively.

There is just so much in this monster make up chest that I can’t list and swatch every item (and I’m sure nobody wants their Christmas surprise ruined!) so I’ll just leave it that it’s £100 from Superdrug. It is actually already listed on line but not available to buy so you’ll have to apply for a notification when it does come in. If you really want to be certain of getting hold of one, it’s HERE, but Superdrug is notorious for deals a little nearer the Christmas dates so you might want to hang on til then.
