You know that autumn is on its way in beaut world when the MAC Trends Book arrives. It’s one of my absolute beauty pleasures to browse through it to see what make up trends are going to be hits of the season. With looks from just about every single top make-up artist (Val Garland and Alex Box to name two) creating backstage looks for the A/W fashion weeks (which happened in Spring) these creations are the predictors for everthing that happens for the coming season. We forget, sometimes, that looks and trends don’t just happen – they’re made by our incredibly talented bank of make-up artists who push boundaries in beauty that then filter through to mainstream looks. I’m personally not planning to rock the blue eyebrow in October but oh my, it’s a stunning look. And that bronze/gold eye corner? Yes, I can do that!
I spotted one of these books on Ebay from a previous season for £117! Who knew?
